Greetings,
I was wondering if any of you might be able to tell me the OOB for the 3rd Romanian Army around January, 1944. I understand it was a part of Army Group A defending the Nikopol bridgehead. Thanks, Ryan |

At Nicopol was in defence 1944 the 6th. german Army, part of the Army Group South, with no romanian troops.
Parts of romanian Army were included in the 17th german Army (from Army Group A) since Stalingrad till the Krimea evacuation. http://www.cgsc.edu/CARL/nafziger/939GXXP.PDF This post has been edited by Petre on September 25, 2013 10:45 am |

In January 1944, the 3rd Army was defending the coast from the Bug to the Dnestr Rivers. the 4/24th Division was further East, but still close to the coast, so no, nothing at Nikopol at that time.
