This is R-1tank belong to Cavarlt Brigade.
This R-1 didn't fight in Odessa. I think this R-1 tank was captured in Kafukas. Mihai

The 1st, 7th and 9th Cavalry Brigades took part in the battle of Odessa. This tank may have been captured anytime between August and October 1941. |

Hey Victor, I was wondering if you were ever able to get that picture of the Romanian troops taking captured arms at Oddessa I sent up on the web, I haven't seen it but maybe I missed it.

Yes, three Cavarly brigate were in Odessa. But,After Battle of Odessa,Iidon't know the news Rumanian Army recover R-1. If you know any information,Let me knowネ Because R-1 is My favarite tank. Mihai |

These photos have recently been on sale on eBay
Original legend: ROMANIA WW2 Armoured Light Tank 2 Photos. A photo depicting a light tank and one depicting something like a chenillette (used probably as artillery tractor). |

The first one is a "Komsomolets" artillery tractor, the second is a T-26 light tank (damaged on the track side).
