Hi guys,
I was asked by our local czech historians...and I am asking you guys with some access to the romanian military archives, if there is a chance to gather any info about this guy: Maxilián (Max) Kalinič, born 21. 1. 1916 it seems he was czechoslovak nationality or there were czechoslovak roots...but he has served in the Red Army (we think he was from the Carphatian district - where former Czechoslovakia had borders with Romanians and Soviets as well)...and most probably deserted or was captured by Romanians.....because there is an information in the czech military archive, that Maximilian has served in the Romanian army since 1942 (?)... Many thanks for any feedback. with best regards Danko Panfilov. This post has been edited by taiwi on December 13, 2014 05:00 pm |
