I have a question if somebody can answer me. I trie to find information about my grandmother brothers how died in 1944 on the front in Transilvania. Unfortunelly I don,t have much informatioan about them. Only the name Ion Padureanu , date of birt , location of birt . From an old picture rezult that they were in a tank regiment/ division.
From family I now that the family recived after much strugle a pension from the state,
so the question is it was a veteran organization during comunism regim ?
Were can I find the archive of this organization ? In Pitesti military archive ?

There it were soma associations, they were named Asociatia veteranilor razboiului antifascist, or something like else. You can find many more at Pitesti military archives.

I manage to find informations regarding the brothers of my grandmother. One was first at the Auto Batalion- Batalionul 1 instructie auto. After that he was transfered to
Divizia de munte Brasov, Auto Company. He died on 13.04.1945.Can somebody now were the 1 batalion auto instructie was ?
The other brother was part of the 95 infantery regiment.

. După 26 octombrie 1944, diviziile 1 și 4 Vânători de Munte au fost absorbite de către diviziile 2 și 3 Vânători de Munte. Acestea din urmă au participat la luptele pentru eliberarea Ungariei și Cehoslovaciei.

După 4 aprilie 1945, efectivele diviziei au ajuns în mun ii Nitra, grupându-se în apărare. Înaintând prin lupte foarte grele a traversat Râul Vah, la 6 aprilie. La 8 aprilie 1945 generalul de divizie Leonard Mociulski a fost chemat în tară, lăsând comanda Diviziei 3 Munte generalului Pompeius Demetrescu, care comandase Divizia 2 Infanterie. Generalul de corp de armată Ion Boiteanu, comandantul Corpului 4 Armată, sub ordinele căruia a ac ionat Divizia 3 Munte în nord-vestul Ungariei şi pe teritoriul Cehoslovaciei, l-a notat pe generalul Leonard Mociulschi, în primăvara anului 1945: „Comandant de război prin excelen ă, care şi-a condus cu competen ă marea unitate în toate opera iile din mun ii Ungariei şi din mun ii Slovaciei”. Sosit în ară, generalul de divizie Leonard Mociulschi a fost numit, la 8 aprilie 1945, la comanda Corpului de Munte, func ie îndeplinită până la 12 mai 1945. Apoi a îndeplinit alte func ii în Marele Stat Major, până la 9 mai 1946, când a fost trecut în rezervă.
