Dear friends,

This Mountain Brigade was settled in 1939. Its structure was:

Grupul 8 Vanatori de Munte
Batalionul 13 Vanatori de Munte
Batalionul 14 Vanatori de Munte
Batalionul 19 Vanatori de Munte
Grupul 9 Vanatori de Munte
Batalionul 17 Vanatori de Munte
Batalionul 18 Vanatori de Munte
Batalionul 20 Vanatori de Munte
Grupul 4 Artilerie Munte
Divizionul 3 Tunuri Munte
Divizionul 6 Tunuri Munte
Batalionul 4 Pionieri Munte.

Ca anyone help me with some specific information about 18th Mountain Battalion - where was it settled and what was its mission in september 1940, once the 2nd Vienna Award took place? On 7th September 1940, cpt. Constantin Mihaescu from this Batallion was in Poiana Sarata on Oituz valley, last village handled to hungarian army. What was he doing there?

Thanks a lot!
