These photos were posted on the site some time ago. Since then I was wondering what type are the mororcycles, and if they saw a wider use in the Romanian army. Were they in use with the motor recon group (squads) of the army divisions?

Thank you very much for your answer, IonIonescu! So, the machines are BMW R 12. You know more about uniforms then me, but aren't the soldiers rather members of the border-guards regiments, which then formed the 2nd Guards Division?
The MG's seems to be ZB 30, I'm not aware of other LMG model in use by that time. Other oppinions? |

The border guards had helmets wit a crest and the gendarmes helmets had spikes, this look like gendarmes.
Difficult to identify the LMGs, I need a better photo for that. Cheers |
