Hello gentlemen
I need information on the usage of the Mannlicher model 1893 rifles and carbines in WW1. How effective was it compared to the other rifles in use at the time? Are there any written recollections, impressions of soldiers on these guns or any technical evaluation studies done by the Army? How many were lost in combat and how many remained in inventory? (I have the numbers in service before August 1916) So anything about combat usage, preferrably with a written source to back it up. The reason I'm collecting data is that I'm helping somebody in the USA, who is going to do a video on the M93 rifle and carbines (shooting included) as part of a series on WW1 weapons.
