I have an old press photo dated November 1939 which shows leaders of the National Renaissance Front (F.R.N.) after the assassination of Armand Calinescu.
The new leader is stated to be Alexandre Giuesco. Is this the correct spelling of the name of the successor of Calinescu? I've tried an internet search but with no luck. Thanks in anticipation |

It seems there wasn't such a person - Alexandre Giuesco ( Alexandru Giurescu ).
The chairmen of the Front were Armand Călinescu, Gheorghe Argeșanu and Constantin Argetoianu. The sucessor to the Prime Minister was Gh. Argeşanu. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Renaissance_Front |

Thank you kindly, multumesc frumos.
It would seem that press inaccuracy is nothing new. |
