Just outside Poenarii Burchii me and Cantacuziono run in to this contruction, a few meters next to the road. Any ideea what it is?

Have you tried to go inside? Although I see there are lot's of "urzici" near the entrance..... ouch!

A good ideea might have been to tie a very powerfull magnet to a rope and toss it into the water... to see what picks up - maybe bullet cartiges, insignia, pieces of equipment ... and so on...

Hey Guys good news! i got accepted to University in Sibiu Romania (scoala de medicina sectia Stoma) and im comming to Rom on Aug 25th and im bringing my metal detector with me. I cant wait to get out there befor i start school and hunt for some ww2 relics. Now if any of you guys wanna hook up with me for some relic hunt.. let me know if you are around sibiu or cluj-napoca becase thats were i will be most of the time.

I find this picture amazing (from one of Hummel's links):
