Gross Got. Wow now that's a find. I wish I could dig up something like that. If someone knows an area in Bihor where there might be a good place to dig please post a message. Thanks in advance.

Hey
 i am thinking about going to Romania this up comming summer and i will bring my metal detector along, i wanna go to some old battle grounds and serch for some ww2 or ww1 relics... if any one is intrested in making up a group or just a person come and join me metal detecting for some stuff. Who know what we can find under the ground, i will be staying mostly around Cluj and Sibiu. so if any one around there wants to come is more the welcome too. Just let me know and post ur reply. Sound's interesting. I remind you that if the cops cach you, I'll have to pay a lot of money for posesing a metalk detector whitout the police's knoledge. I want also to know in what period will you be hunting for relics...and where will you be staying? I'm interested, but I don't know if I'll be available when you wanna go search. Best regards ^All^ |

Some time ago I asked at the customs if I'm allowed to get a metal detector from another country and they said yes. I've told them that I know that it's illegal to own one so they said that I can receive anything except drugs and weapons.
 They don't care if it's illegal to own one. That's police business. -------------------- ~

hey All
i am not sure what month or day ill be going to Romania yet i havent made my plans thats far out. But i know for sure that ill be going this summer and it will be prob around july or august. I know that is illegal to have a metal detector in Romanian but i will try to make it. So ill pay the cops a visit and get some stamps on paper... lol.. But if u are intrested lets talk about it. i mean we still have a few more months till this summer. lol.. Dragos |

Sure...but in jully I have some exams to take, and in august I'll be going to Koln in Germany, and I don't know yet how much time I'll have between exams and the trip. Do you have anywhere to stay? I have, actually had a grandmother near Cluj-Napoca, aprox 17 km from C-Napoca to that vilage, and I'm thinking that we could stay there if I can talk to my relatives about it. So I don't know yet if I can help you dig. I sure hope I can.

Hey All
When ill be going to cluj ill be staying with my grandmother but if u want to set up a party or just two then thats fine with me. Now if u are busy in July and August well then maybe ur free in September lol.. Like i said befor i dont know exactly when ill be going to Romania so u never know when ill pop by.. I would come sooner but as ur self i also have school and exams and this beeing my last year in college i have to get some studying done .. lol. by the way do u have a metal detector too? if u dont then thats ok will use mine,. hope will find our selfs some " potcoave de cai morti" lol..
