Thank you for your help. This is all most interesting to me. I do wish I could find more information, i.e., books... on the Romanian Army during WW1 and WW2, especially WW2. (IN ENGLISH)
There is more than enough info in this site to publish multiple books in english relating to Romania in WW2 |

A very good - albeit slightly biased - English-language book written on Rumania's participation in W.W. 2 is authored by Mark Axworthy. It was published by Arms and Armour, in the UK, in 1995 (it's out of print, though). |

I just checked the 'net for Axworthy's book and it's available, used, for... 203 USD (the cheapest)!

The book is "De la Stalingrad la batalia Moldovei (august 1942 - august 1944)", by ANVR, 1997.
The Army Group "Marshal Antonescu" had to be formed in autumn 1942, having under command the 3rd and 4th Romanian Armies. Because of the disagreements between the German and the Romanian commands at the Don's bend, this army group was never created. |

Most books have been unavailable. A couple I did find but were very expensive. I need to know a book is really good for $150.00 or more... I hate to pay more than $70.00 for any book.

Except for the bullshit Communist propaganda and the large white spots, "forgotten" by the authors. |
