Not exactly. First, it was 'Franco-Roumaine', created as a joint project between Rumania and France in 1920, then CIDNA, then SGELA and finally Air France, formed in August 1933.

Compania Franco-Română de navigaţie Aeriană (CFRNA- Compagnie Franco-Roumanine de Navigation aerienne) was created on 23 April 1920 by Aristide Blank (the president of Marmorosh Bank) and the french Pierre de Fleurieu. The capital of this company was about 3 million francs and the adress of this air company was in Paris on Str. Rivoli nr. 194 ( The Piramids street nr. 22).
