Hello again,

I'm confused about the weapons of the PZL P11 series: a, b,c,f.
Some indicated the 7.7mm Vickers F, some 7.92 wz.33, etc.
Most because Romania had many of them, mostly series b, c and f.
What do you say ?
Thank you.

Leo.

The Rumanian-made P.Z.L. P.11F was armed with 4 Browning MGs of 7.92mm (data from original ARR document). For the Polish-made types, check out Polish sources.

I search almost everything on WEB and the informations are contradictory: some sources say for p 11b 7.7 Vickers E, other 7.92 wz. PWU, other 7.7 wz.33 ?! For the p11 c the same thing. Even the polish authors have not the same opinion.

Based on an authoritative 2-volume Polish book dealing with the P.11, written by well-known Polish researchers A. Glass, T. Kopanski and T. Makowski, published by AJ-Press in 1997, the following machine guns were installed on various sub-types of the P.Z.L. 11 family:
P.11A: 2 x Vickers E, cal. 7.92mm
P.11B: 2 x Vickers E, cal. 7.92mm
P.11C: 4 x PWU wz. 33, cal. 7.92mm
P.11F: 4 x PWU wz. 33, cal. 7.92mm
